Back to Barca /
Finally returned to Barcelona this year since 2019. I love this city.

It has been more than two years since I’ve last uploaded to my website (sorry!). Here are some of my favorite photos from my trip to Japan last year for my honeymoon. We went in May and started in Tokyo, then Sapporo, Takayama, Hiroshima, Itsukushima Shrine, and then Fukuoka (and we flew back out from Tokyo again). This was our second trip to Japan following our 2018 visit, where we went to Tokyo, Kyoto, Nara, and Osaka.
It’s been more than a year since I last posted, but hey, this one’s actually travel-related! Yaling and I went back to Iceland in late July through early August. We drove around the Ring Road again, but unlike our 2015 trip, this time we drove clockwise. We made sure to hit the Westfjords, which we missed on the last trip. We’re lucky to have been able to travel during a pandemic (and remain safe), so we’re thankful. If you’ve never been to Iceland, these pictures will hopefully convince you it’s worth it?
Yaling and I headed straight to Quebec City a few minutes after the clock struck midnight on January 1, 2016. Apart from trekking through the snow-laden winter wonderland that is Old Quebec, we also took part in what is now my favorite activity — dog sledding!
We first stopped by the Museum of Fine Arts.
These sculptures were made of whalebone.
The front of the Parliament building.
The ramparts.
Chateau Frontenac — a big fancy hotel.
We arrived at Chenil la Poursuite to some adorable puppies!
My partner in crime. :)
Away we go!
Stopped by tepee to keep warm. There was coffee, hot chocolate, and cookies too!
Look at this handsome fella.
Yaling took this fantastic shot!
The steps of Montmorency Falls was closed off because of the snow unfortunately.
Ms. Chan and I visited the Central Park Zoo today. It's a pretty small area and only $12 for adults, so if you're in the area, definitely stop by!
