Batu Caves and FRIM / by Julian Chokkattu

Below are some photographs from trekking through the Batu Caves and FRIM. Batu Caves is a limestone hill that's about 30 minutes from Kuala Lumpur. My brother and I grouped up with Jason (U.S.) and David (Germany) at the hostel and trekked with them. After the caves, we took a taxi to the Forest Research Institute Malaysia (FRIM), about 15 minutes away. We took the canopy hiking path and walked on wobbly footing high up in the trees. The hike ended with a small waterfall, where we took our shoes off and lingered in the cool water.
